What is SOLO?
An ultra-efficient electric, single-seat vehicle designed for single commuting, business fleets, and vehicle-sharing convenience.
Is SOLO electric?
100%. Your SOLO never needs gas or oil.
How much does SOLO cost?

What colors are available for the SOLO?
Red, silver, black and white, or at an additional cost, choose any color with a unique vehicle wrap.
Can I drive SOLO in carpool lanes?
SOLO may be driven in carpool lanes in California. However, you are responsible for confirming compliance with your state’s traffic laws prior to driving in carpool lanes.
Why does SOLO have three wheels?
Better aerodynamics, less weight, less rolling resistance, reduced costs and material usage, and better rear visibility.
Why does SOLO have two doors?
Having two doors provides greater safety and convenience, and creates a more appealing visual design. This feature allows ingress and egress from both sides of the vehicle, a convenient feature in areas of heavy city traffic where getting in or out of the vehicle from the left-hand side may be difficult or unsafe.
How much does SOLO weigh?
SOLO weighs 1735 pounds.
Is SOLO FWD, RWD or AWD?
SOLO is a RWD vehicle.
What is the 0-60?
SOLO accelerates from 0-60 in less than 12 seconds.
How fast can SOLO go?
Up to 80 mph.
Do I have to wear a helmet?
In most states, you don't have to wear a helmet to drive SOLO. This will vary, so check with your state to ensure you comply with local requirements.
Since it’s a three-wheeler, is SOLO considered a motorcycle?
Your SOLO is both registered and insured as a motorcycle, but offers many features found in vehicles costing much more. Most states do not require a motorcycle endorsement to drive SOLO, but check your local laws to ensure you are in compliance.
Can I order a color outside of the factory colors?
SOLO is available in white, red, black, and silver. If you would like a color outside of this, we can arrange a full-vehicle body wrap from our vendor at an additional charge.
Does SOLO have regen braking?
Your SOLO does have regen braking.
How fast does SOLO charge?
110V Charging Time: 0-85% (12.5hrs); 0-100% (15hrs)
220V Charging Time: 0-85% (2.5hrs); 0-100% (6hrs)2
Does SOLO come with a charger?
Your SOLO will come equipped with a charger offering both a 110v and 240v male end.
What is the range of the SOLO?
Up to 100 miles on a single charge.3
Is SOLO safe?
SOLO offers a crumple zone, triple-reinforced steel side impact protection, torque limiting stability control, as well as a roll bar, all as included safety features.
Does SOLO have airbags?
Since it's classified as a motorcycle, SOLO does not require airbags.
Can I request a test drive?
Yes. You can sign up for your test drive here.
Where will I take delivery?
Your SOLO can be brought to you (delivery charges will vary by distance) OR you can pick up your vehicle at our facility at no additional charge.
How long does it take to get delivery?
For cash customers, we anticipate 3-5 business days. If planning to finance, we anticipate 7-10 business days.
How can I prepare for delivery?
Provide all requested documents, as well as fill out the financing application, if applicable.
What do I need to bring for delivery?
You need a valid form of ID to take delivery of your SOLO.
Who must be present at delivery?
All individuals who are registered on the vehicle must be present at the time of delivery to sign.
Do you ship outside the U.S.?
At this time, ElectraMeccanica does NOT ship out of the U.S.
What are the accepted methods of payment?
We currently offer financing. If you prefer to pay in cash, we accept cashier's checks, ACH payments, or wire transfers.
What incentives are available? State and federal?
There are a number of federal and state rebates available. In California, there is currently an additional clean fuel rebate that you could see applied to your vehicle purchase agreement if you plan to register in California.

Can I trade-in my current vehicle?
ElectraMeccanica does not take trade ins at this time.
Do I insure SOLO as a motorcycle?
Yes, your SOLO is both registered and insured as a motorcycle.

How do I get the SOLO app?
You can download the SOLO app through the Google Play Store or Apple Store.
